if anyone is interested in complex engineering the salvage of the Costa
Concordia has begun.

the rotational forces have to be monitored closely or the hull may shear
into pieces. the hull may still deform.

if they pull it off they are Heros. 
A half a billion GBP, British Pounds have been spent so far on protecting
the marine scantuary and raising the Costa Concardia.

The Battleship UUS Okalhoma was raised in Pearl Harbor by parbuckling.
they used Ford Island for staging the winch.
