[TheForge] Rush lamps

I have gotten tired of explaining how rush lights worked when I demonstrate at our local historical village so I decided to find some lamp rushes.  

It took half the summer before I finally found some here in northeastern Ohio.  The first batch I found were right along the road that I drive every day.  After I discovered those and learned how to recognize them, I was able to see other patches elsewhere but they are still pretty rare.

Now I'm waiting until the plants start to dry before I cut them and process them.  This should help with my demo, along with a working betty lamp and maybe a cruise lamp.
