Thanks I have and use that book quite a bit when I am figuring revents 
of existing chimneys.

What I was looking for was something we used to use all the time with 
old natural vent gas furnaces (60 afue).

IT was not real precise, but you could tell in a heartbeat if  a flue 
was adequate when someone wanted to add just "one more appliance"
