[TheForge] A question on theForge history

Mike,
The current owners of QTH.net took it over in 2009 from the former owner
and TheForge archives only go back to 2001.
History information prier to that has been lost due to server switch overs
and other technical problems, according to the current owners.
I do not have access to any "official" information as to when TheForge was
started, but I remember that it was originally hosted by Washington U.
in St. Lewis, MO after the ABANA Conference there. Someone over on
"ArtMetal" might have more information. I took over as list mom from Dave
Brown.
I do not remember when that was, maybe he knows something.
