this sort of stuff goes on because people just do not stand up to it.
they are like many people not wanting to spend the 1. time & 2. Money.
they allow this form of legal abuse to propagate through the american
legal system.

i know some lawyers who would love to eat this person alive in court
and slap them down so hard that they would have to look up to look
down.

me; i enjoy making Doctors, Hospitals, Nurses, etc lifes a living hell
and very expensive one at that. If you are going to "practise" medicine
at least try not to harm/maim/cripple/kill the patient, particularly
when the patient is me. Saying "oops" in the operating room is not funny.
sticking me with a hypo of penicillin when a simple look at my medical
records you would note in 3inch high red ink the warning; "Allegeric to
Penicillin". I did not need to go into respiratory arrest and spend two
weeks in the hospital just to recover from your "oversight". Was that
"oversight" on your part worth the USD that your insurance company had
to pay out?
