They may not be a common as they used to be -- Left hand drills were common
when multi spindle drill press were common. Ever other spindle rotated in
the reverse direction.  With today's CNC machining centers with rapid tool
change reverse spindle operations are less common.

Huh.  We have industrial supply places that support the oil rig industry but
I haven't visited one that appeared to carry a lot of hard-core tools like
that. The best one crashed and burned after take-over by new, younger,
enthusiastic management oriented to modern business practices. RIP.

I'll keep it in mind, though, tnx.
