Thanks Andy, I've heard about lavender oil too but haven't given it a try. I 
have a bottle of aloe gel and once the blister opened I started using Cut 
Heal on it. Cut Heal is primarily pine tar, turpentine and a dash of 
sulphuric acid. It's a topical wound dressing you can find in the livestock 
supply or most decent sized pet departments. The stuff works a charm.

The burn was hardly a wound even, I was surprised it blistered even as 
little as it did. Then again, when you get to my venerable old coot age 
you're supposed to talk rielessly about your ills and I figure everybody's 
tired of the Great White Attack stories.
