Rifles. No, I am not joking. They have NO interest in doing things
that liberate and empower people. Here I speak on the statistical
average, of course.
They don't have to DO anything except get the hell out of the way.
Private industry would take care of this in no time. If they just
fucked off and let people do what they do best, I guarantee I could get
a LFTR online within 5 years, given funding. It is proven technology
requiring nothing more than money and the removal of regulatory hurdles.
Don't hold your breath on that last bit.

It's not that so much as it is the morbid drive to control everything.
They have to be in charge, giving permission... taking it away. These
people are mentally ill and should be treated that way. A nice, padded
cell for the next 100 years is what they need so that the rest of us can
get on with good things.

Precisely the reason they prevent it. Anything that diminishes their
net power holdings is repressed.

For one, "nuclear" is a very four-letter word and the average human is
pig ignorant and unwilling to become any different. They equate uranium
breeders with nuclear and nothing else. They have NO knowledge of what
"radition" is and have been conditioned to fear it mortally.
Just look at the USA where people have more access to these brands of
truth than any other place on earth. Dumber than fucking posts on the
average and damned bent to remain that way. Stupid hippie remnants
chanting, "no nukes..." Jesus in a taxicab... how do they breathe on
their own for want of a single nominally functional brain cell?
I might also suspect that any nation fixing to look into it would be
read the riot act by IMF/Worldbank because anything that increases
independence of a population is anathema to the world-government
advocates. Don't forget that there is not a SINGLE "developing" nation
even remotely in a position to develop such technology that is not under
the IMF thumb. In order to get IMF goodies, you have to agree to
conditions that include requirements such as "structural readjustments".
I would not be in the least surprised to find a requirement to not
pursue nuclear ANYTHING. Make sense?
