NEB FALL MEET - Sept 6-8
Mark Aspery will be demonstrating.
He will work on the ABANA Grill Project. This meet will be held in Brentwood
NH.
That's like a half hour drive north from Haverhill. Mark Aspery is a
fantastic demonstrator and your knowledge base will jump up lightyears.
Plus, you get to network with other smiths (who may be close to you and you
didn't know) and possibly a line on tools/equipment.
It's only about 3 months from now. In the meantime, hit the estate sales and
flea markets. I have bought a lot cheap scrounging around.
When you need something specific and you need to save time, buy it new at
the retail price.
Do you live in an apartment or house? Do you have access to a garage?
Any advice you get will be tailored to the information you give.

I am located in Haverhill, MA. I am trying not to build my own forge at this
time because of a safety aspect since I live in a city.
