for getting to the photo area ---
i just tried following the directions at the bottom of each message; i.e.
> TheForge mail list group photo site is
> http://www.photoworks.com
> Login: blacksmithblacksmith at hotmail.com
> Password: anvil
and got the Shutterfly "Page unavailable" message page.
BUT...being more stubbon than the average blacksmith (and that's sayin a
lot!) i looked at the top right of the "Page unavailable" page and noticed a
small "Sign In" box directly underneath "Wedding Paper Divas". so, i
clicked on the "Sign In" box and then input the login email address of
"blacksmithblacksmith at hotmail.com" and then entered the "anvil" password,
and, once again, received the "Page unavailable" message.
at this point, i simply ignored the "Page unavailable" message (i did say
"stubbon" didn't i?) and clicked on the "My Shutterfly" in the menu just
above the "Page unavailable" message and i was taken to the page that has
the photo of the forge shop in the USS Prometheus.
SHORTCUT -- based on the above experience, i decided to start over and
substitute "http://www.shutterfly.com" for "http://www.photoworks.com" in
the boilerplate message at the end of each forge message, entered the login:
"blacksmithblacksmith at hotmail.com" and password: "anvil" and i was
immediately taken to the USS Prometheus.
i respectfully suggest the forge end of message boilerplate instruction be
changed from "http://www.photoworks.com" to "http://www.shutterfly.com".
strike while the iron is hot,
