In the March April issue of the BAM newsletter I have an article about an 
anvil made from a RR track by one of our members.  Not a new idea, but he 
made some mods that are real easy and make it very useful. You can get it at

Zach,

In general once you know what you are looking for you start to see
blacksmith tools at flea markets, antique stores, and garage sales.

A lot of times antique stores have a section where they put the rusty stuff
they don't really want to deal with, and sell at a reasonable price.

The good thing about blacksmithing, once you have the basic tools to get
started, you can make a lot of the specialty tools for yourself.

Get involved in a local group, you will find guys there that are more than
willing to share what they know.
