Dan Fronefield is one of the foremost experts on forging  and using  
meteorites in knives.

One of the better Iron- Nickel meteorites for forging is the Gibeon 
meteorite.
Be aware that if you heat the meteorite to critical temperature you 
destroy the

I find it better to us it in the knife furniture.
I'm not aware of any forgeable meteorites that can make a good blade 
without alloying with other steel.
