I sent this once but it did not appear in my in box, if it is a repeat
please excuse the inconvenience.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
((Please take the following in a light hearted manner, but heed the message))

I am addressing everyone as a reminder and particularly grddog85 at gmail.com
who's last post was rejected by the ROBOT for being too large and
having a picture attached.

Instead of a way too technical explanation, let us consider that
"TheForge" e-mail list
is run by a ROBOT. Now this robot can be whatever you think of when
someone says "robot".
It can be a mechanical device like R2D2 or C3PO or it could be a
sophisticated computer program.
In either case, the robot has a few simple rules under which it
operates. If you wish to post
anything to TheForge, you have to post within these parameters.

Here they are in no particular order.

*One address only, no cc or bcc or multiple addresses.

*Plain Text only, the robot can not read "Rich Text" or html.
NO ATTACHMENTS, this means no stationary, no music, no auto signatures (in html)
no video clips no photographs, no documents, no attachments.
( if you look at the bottom of every message posted to TheForge, you will
find how to and where to post your pictures.)

*Size Limit, good netiquette requires that you take the time and effort to
"cut" or "delete" all of the previous posts in a particular thread of
conversation.
Don't "reply" to a conversation and leave the last 4, 5, 10, replies
still attached.
Everyone has already read them, it takes up far too much band width,
and slows down
the whole process. In no time at all, the robot thinks to itself,
"gee, I have read the same stuff
over and over and this message is just way too big for me to read,
I'll just bounce it over to the 'list mom'
and let him give me instructions."
Of course I am paraphrasing, I am not sure of exactly what the robot
thinks. It's probably
something more like, "1011001000110110110100101110001011100011110"

* There are probably a few more 'rules' but I can't think of them just now.

So, if grddog85 at gmail.com will please re-post their message and delete
most of the
previous 'reply' messages and remove the picture of your nice rivet forge,
then we can proceed with this pleasant conversation.

Thanks for listening, and the ROBOT thanks you too,
