Pretty cool video on the making of a very special viking sword.

Video about making a viking age  crucible steel sword in Northern Wisconsin.

PBS video with commentary by English, Danish, Swedish and Norwegian sword
experts... about surprising technology of viking age  about 1,000 years a
head of modern crucible steel.

Funny at the end they documentary... they note some same time period but 
"fake" / false super swords,  where the commentator suspected both the 
people making false swords and the people buying the false "name brand"
swords were thought to be illiterate.

Maybe the brand name on the sword might have translated something like
"Wolf's Breath"
