Thanks Bruce.
Dead = serene and peaceful...right?
Metal content.
I ordered a used pneumatic riveting hammer from The Yard Store, an outfit i like that sells tools mostly for aircraft
restoration, etc. Nice folks, good prices and quality, good service.
The hammer never came, i thought, so i traced the UPS delivery and the note said it'd been left by the gate. New driver. We live on a major Hwy, so i assumed it had been taken by a passer by. Called The Yard and they sent another one out immediately!
The first one just turned up, tucked in a seldom visited corner of the front driveway amidst the junk. Sigh..gotta call them and fess up.
Buying used, i can afford one with a decently sensitive trigger ( modifying a cheapie trigger to be more responsive is possible but time consuming) and i've got 2 that are good on the trigger response but the barrels have become really sloppy with use. I'll save them for chipping welding bead slag.
