I am not an expert on the chemistry of HP O2, but I know enough to do as 
I was trained a million years ago.  Fuel and oxidizer fittings always 
remain "clean" - no oils, etc.  I knew spontaneous combustion is 
possible with oils, was not specifically aware it would happen even with 
teflon.  Goes to show that  becoming more broadly edumacated in the 
finer points of one's endeavors is usually a pretty good idea.  If that 
is for some reason not happening, at least have the sense to observe the 
most basic safety precautions.
