[TheForge] OT: this is driving me crazy...

My father co-piloted the lead plane on first daytime , uncamoflaged(sp) daytime bombing raids over Germany.
He said that around that time, Britain was down to one single, functional fighter plane that they could scramble to respond to the German bombing runs.
Good thing it wasn't needed to make movies.
