The wisdom of having withdrawn from nomadic, anarchistic life is
eminently questionable. Blacksmithing is a great thing and technology
is pretty neat at times, but I wonder if the prices we have paid as
individuals and as a species has been worth it. I cannot say I am a
real big fan of the great big crap we have taken upon the rest of the
world's inhabitants as well.
Perhaps it is all the same, perhaps not. I do not suppose we will ever
know.

As recently as the 1930's, the entire Skagit River, which can be up to 180,000 cubic feet PER SECOND, decided to change its course- and, needless to say, it didnt pay any attention to zoning, where houses were built, libertarian principles, or governmental regulation- it just moved.
