concerning taxes.
other than property taxes, i have not paid any federal or state income
taxes since at least 2001. that was for 9 months of work for motorola
cellular group. other than that all my income has been non-taxable.
workman's compensation settlements are non-taxable.
personal injury settlements are non-taxable.
given that all of my current assets came from non-taxable income. i am
not trading any tax structure for another.

national health service is a nice feature. it is no different than what
i currently have. all my health care is now supplied by the VA hospitals
and CBOCs. so i am basically trading on federal health care system for a
another federal health care system.

public mass transport which actually does have handicapped/physically
challenged/etc access. mass transit in northern illinois is not
handicap/physically challenged/etc friendly.

the BBC both television and radio.
ITV, the other television network in the UK

i have not bashed the federal government in any postings.

the american health care system and the american legal systems are both
in dire need to complete overhaul. even obama care does nothing to help
victims of catastrophic accidents. the minute a third party in involved
the insurnace companies even the VA hospital and CBOCs have a
get-out-of-jail free card. even though you are the victim of the third
party's neglience unless the third party has a huge insurance policy or
in individually wealth, you are going to get stuck with the medical
bills. the medical bills from the head-on-collision totaled more than
$550,000.00 USD that does not count the continuing and future cost of
care directly related to the head-on-collision.

then there is the "state of illinois health care service lien act" which
outlines in detail by various formula who gets what part of any payouts
in catastrophic accidents. right off the top is 30 percent for the
lawyers, 40 percent for the medical service providers, and in theory 30
percent for the victim. i say in theory because section 42 of the act
allows medical service providers who were not paid in full to continue
to pursue the victim for the balance."

the saving grace in all of the accidents is that under federal
bankruptcy law , workman compensation settlements are non-attachable
assets. i could declare bankruptcy and any and all workman's
compensation settlement money is safe. anything i purchased with the
settlement money is also safe.

concerning any social security disabliliy, the minute a third party is
involved, social security washes their hands of you.

concerning the state of illinois and the city of chicago being the most
corrupt, that is a restatement of fact. i do not have the url handy at
the moment for the research report which came to those finding.

perhaps if you were to "walk in my shoes" (which i do not recommend) you
would have a better understanding.

northern illinois has far too many memories that i desire to forget.
being crushed in the work accident, the head-on-collision, etc. i am in
touch with my body enough to know that there not many more year left.
the accidents have taken too much of a toll on this body.

i would rather spend those years somewhere where i have some sense of
peace of mind and body.
