Frostig, I was on another List, and made a passing comment about how
SUVs ought to be banned for most people. I got a response from a lady,
on the List, about how wonderful her SUV was. She had been driving
home from Albany in the previous weekend's heavy snow fall, and she
said, and I quote, "Oh, SUVs are wonderful. I was driving home last
weekend in our SUV, at 45 mph, and we had 0 visibility."

I rest my case.

I like SUVs.
I've been driving them for years, long before they became as popular
as they are, but the problem with them is that most of the idiots
driving them don't understand 2 things-

1. They may GO in bad weather where a 2wd vehicle won't, but they
don't SROP any faster than a 2wd vehicle.

2. Just because they're larger than most vehicles, they don't have
more right-of-way than other vehicles.

Ford has a cute comment on their websites:

" Remember that even advanced technology cannot overcome the laws of physics."
