Aw Marc, it's not a plot, it's bureaucrats trying to invent some all
important need to justify their job. You aught to see how parking lots are
laid out here in snow country, there are curb medians everywhere, curbed
lanes and light poles all over the darned things. Sure it makes it nearly
impossible to plow snow, find your way out or park a pickup let alone
deliver in a van or semi but what the hey an engineer isn't flipping
burgers. Heck, ever been to the airport in San Francisco?
