I boxed in the main support I beam with two pieces of 1/4" plate and it has 
taken all the flex out of the frame. I made 3 - 10" bowls using the English 
wheel to take out the tool marks.  The bowls came out much nicer than when I 
just hammered them into shape. I tried to do one just using the wheel to 
shape it, but after 10 minutes I had only dished it 1/2". They needed to be 
2 1/2" deep and I have my doubts that I had the patience to do it all the 
way on the wheel.  So I took it to the press to get the rough shape, and 
then cleaned up with the wheel.
