Google Sketchup is free and fairly easy to use. It won't export DXF files
on the free version, however. I think it runs around five or six hundred.
There is a free plug in that supposedly allows you to export DXF files.
Maybe worth a try. Sketchup is something to consider even without the file
option. I do all of my proposals on Sketchup.
