[TheForge] Back home from ABANA conference

I just got back to town. Ups and downs with this trip. Had a good time at
the conference. I won the Poster contest (Thanks to all who voted for mine)
and I got interviewed for the next Anvil's Ring. Overall, I liked it. There
were a couple negatives. But, I did get some cool stuff. 
Just before the conference the heater core cracked and leaked coolant into
the ducts. It took a day to fix and $1400. On the way home, we got to Hays
Kansas (180 miles to Wichita home) today and the transmission went out. The
truck is still in Hays at the Chevy dealer. I'll have to go back Thursday to
pick it up. If it's fixable, they'll fix it, otherwise they'll put in a new
transmission. My wife and I came home in a rental car. This has turned into
a rather expensive trip. I'm so glad to be home, I'm feeling pretty calm.
Tomorrow, I'm going to think up some projects that I could make to sell to
help pay off the credit cards.
