Bosch die grinder (dear), jeweler's flex-shaft grinder with Jacobs
chuck (dear), Chinese-made air die grinder (cheap but you need air) or
old-fashioned belt-drive dental drill (bother to find and odd-sized
bit shanks, 3/32" IIRC).

I lucked onto a dental drill on its way to scrap. Junk guy wanted
money for the motor, let me pick up all the drill parts from his
rubbish pile for free. Finding the belts was the hardest part. In
the nd, after much bother, it's proved to be great for small/tiny
grinding and cutting (!) jobs. And the hand pieces hold the bits
really well. I gave away 3 Dremel tools after I got the dental drill
because the collet chucks on all of them would loosen in use.

So call all the dentists in town to see if one of them (or h{is,er}
retired dad) has one in the attic.

Word of warning: The motors are high-torque and the belts (obviously)
exposed. Getting long hair into the belt might be less traumatic than
being sucked into a lathe or drill press but not so very much less.
