An electric pipe threader is like a horse and buggy, compared to a HEBO as mercedes coupe.
I have had a Hebo for close to ten years now, and its amazingly well thought out and built.
Enormous torque, slow speed, and an electromagnetic brake programable in one degree increments. Plus, it weighs a ton, literally. There is no substitute for mass, when twisting. 
The hebo will do 1 1/2" square, cold. 
What it does hot is truly amazing.
