Paul,
Could you send me the article?  I would like to use it in a PBA newsletter.

I have been using that joint quite a lot this last year, making wine
holders that hold a bottle of wine and two glasses and push into the ground
... for camping, picnics, etc.  I have been using 1/4" or 5/16" round rod,
and using a 3/4" piece of 3/4" square tubing as the clamp.  I hammer them
together cold (no heating of the clamp) ... sure is easier to position the
clamp with my fingers that way ;-)  If you are on facebook, you can see a
