given the trouble with trees i thought it would a good time to review
the two most important rules to remember when doing anything.

0. murphy's law: whatever can go wrong will go wrong at the worst possible time.
1. safety first and foremost; see rule 0.

i use to have a coffee mug that said in big blue letters.
