[TheForge] how to set up for a wheelchair bound smith

Quite some time ago there was a thread on TheForge on setting up a shop to
teach handicapped students and .   There's a man in our guild who is
striving to help a wheel-chair bound friend get into blacksmithing, and
possibly do something for the Wounded Warrior project.

 

What have you found works?  (shop layout, anvil position)

 

How do you protect the person and their wheel chair?
