I wish I knew how to do a social media campaign...here's my idea: We could
require all guns with removable magazines over five shots to be either
painted pink or have all plastic parts be pink.

This would totally remove the "badass" feeling that I think might draw
homicidal maniacs to use them, and people who want to own one could just
suck it up and own one.

I seriously think that of all the solutions proposed this one would
actually have a chance of aborting the next shooting- well, what would
actually happen is that the next guy would use something else, but that's
another story for another day.
