[TheForge] forging temp.

Ooops...sorry...I meant  to ask about a handy weight per unit volume..Si Bronze.
In practice , bronze forging temps require feeling out each individual alloy under the hammer.
Not long ago i was switching back and forth between 3 different alloys and it about drove me nuts..or nutser.

Depends on the alloy.  Some bronzes and brasses can be forged hot, others (most?) cannot.  The best way to know is either to get the specs from manufacturers or get out your Mark's Handbook and look up the specific alloy.
