It did pose an interesting question though..We have, daily, 235 deaths 
from three causes.

90 accidental which we do try to address with seat belts,DUI 
enforcement and speed limits,but never the less are below the radar.

145 of which are tragic, and non accidental,which as a nation we more or 
less ignore.

The school shootings are newsworthy strictly because they are 
aberrational. I am certain that the families of the other 245 feel their 
deaths as deeply and are thankfully spared the media tempest.

While I would love a serious turn of culture that truly respects the 
value of each life, I doubt the media frenzy is a step in that direction.

I am in pain for these fellow parents,but only to the limit that I can 
identify as a human,and a parent. I can do nothing for them but pray and 
respect their privacy.
If it were my family the only ones I'd care to see would be family and 
close friends.All others would grate no end.
