[TheForge] Mower vs boot scraper

Jeff,

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll check that out. It really did stop cold
when it hit the scraper, it makes sense that the flywheel kept on rotating
and sheared off the key. I had given this mower to my son when he bought a
house in town about 5 years ago. He gave it back when he couldn't get it
going this spring. I cleaned the carb and it ran fine. I was feelling
preaty smug about getting it going right up untill the boot scraper
incident.

Check the fly wheel key. If the key, which is "soft", let the flywheel
rotate on the shaft the timing is off.

Who has hit more that one big rock and had to fix the mower.
