Tinner's rivet headers have a rectangular face. Next to the cup-shaped
ding for heading is a hole that serves as a sort of monkey tool.  With
the rivet in place, you put the hole over the end of the rivet and
clout the tool with your hammer to set the workpieces firmly together,
then apply the header.
