Jim:

Larry is a good guy and sells good products. I've never used one of his
forges but have one of his burners and it works just fine for a linear
naturally aspirated (NA) burner.

Rex's burners are Ejecter type NA burners and inherently aout 30% more
efficient than a linear. His are more expensive but they make more heat and
you don't have to make your own.

The Porter burners are ejector types as well and require some experience
doing precise metal work but once tuned they're very effecient.

Both the Diamond forges and Chili forges are very well made and efficient.
Welding in them is a matter of turning up the pressure some. I haven't heard
anything negative about them since they're been available.
