Dave and all: With the rising popularity of prop torches and conversions 
most manufacturers are using materials good for propane in their hoses and 
regulators. Still, it's a good idea to check to make sure.

I have used the same accet. regulator and hoses for years with no ill 
affect.
The propane tips do work a lot better than the accet. tips when using 
propane.
