[TheForge] OT -- 59 mm Acme thread fittings?

Are they square cut or rounded? If rounded especially tapered then they 
might be "rope" threads common in the drilling industry. Earth drilling that 
is. Are they male or female?

Pete's epoxy solution will work just fine if you don't try gluing new 
fittings to poly plastic. Basiclly just glue fittings that'll work to the 
old ones and call the rain dancers.
