[TheForge] lightning

Lightning can really be strange.  At my Mom & Dad's farm in southern Ohio, it has hit the house several times and the house is 1/3 the way down a big hill.  

It has blown out several sump pumps - its preferred path.  One time it came through an open kitchen window and welded a pot to the kitchen sink.  Another time it came through a window and hit the chimney.  That one blew Dad off the sofa.

Needless to say we are very careful when there is lightning.
