Sucks to lose all the electronics Kim, glad you weren't hurt or lose your
house. My Grandmother used to tell the story about lightning striking the
tree in front of their house in Ohio about a week after they got their first
phone. Hit the tree, jumped to the phone line on the house, followed it in,
blew the phone into smokng shrapnel and danced around the kitchen as ball
lightning lighting various things on fire. The entire family had just sat
down for dinner when the show started.
Okay, the point of the little family history divergence being the lightning
didn't follow the power lines in it followed the phone line and both are
generally carried on the smae poles above ground. Just something to think
about. . . Or not. <grin>
