Sounds like they are making plain old hardwood <charcoal> to me...

1500 C. = 2732 degree F.  Heck throw a blower on hardwood charcoal and you
can melt iron ore and get iron/steel out of the rock...

I smell a PC/Greenie scam on this one...  Not accusing you Jerry - just the
guys who are promoting 'Eco Coke' - they are probably just jumping on the
Green Bandwagon...

Sorry been a long day and <all> the joints are hurting... :)

I saw that the Japanese are making Eco Coke out of wood, suppose to heat to
1,500 C. They mentioned it was being made some where in states, does any one
know where?
