[TheForge] 21-anvil salute on Victoria Day

Shooting anvils never caught my imagination.
The photo link that Mike shared,  showed the Mayor of New Westminster,
British Columbia.  The mayor is grimacing standing pretty close to an
anvil being blasted into the air.   According to the photo caption, the
mayor had just set off the  explosion.  Simple Business suit, no hearing
protection, no obvious protection devises  of any-kind.

My first thought was what kind of stupid would knowingly take those risks.
According to that cities' web site: Wayne Wright really is / was the
city's  mayor.  He is completing his 3rd, 3 year term of mayor.
