I wish I knew too Andy. It didn't barberchair, it actually spun around
almost 180* and it was leaning the other way a good 35*. The stump and butt
end show good clean cuts with the hinge I intended intact. I'd planned on
rolling it between 6-10' to the right to clear some trees and stuff stored
on it's fall line. How it came all the way around really has me wondering. I
wish someone was videoing the fell so I could see what happened.
Still, I felled it so I missed something pretty powerful. Non-obviously
stupid works. I picked a day with no breeze even and you can hear them
coming on our little ridge and I would've dodged. Heck, I had two shield
trees to hide behind if something went bad. A non-obvious and fast hazard.
Oh well, go to the well too often and it'll get ya.
Oh NO! Not a thousand years, now I'm worried. What did I do so bad as to make
me stay here a millenium?
Jer
