[TheForge] Cure for a bad burn?

Lots of 1st aid training tells me this is a BAD idea. burning the skin
violates our 1st line of protection from infection and topical toxins so
keeping it clean is a MUST.
Cool, NOT cold water then Aloe for closed burns. I like cool water in a
clean zip lock plastic bag and sterile dressing for open burns. Silvadene is
terrific for almost any wound as it's a powerful sterilizing agent.
Probably the BEST answer though is to follow the old blacksmith saying I
made up a year ago or so.
