I have wide feet and it's hard to find boots that fit. The last pair I got
we spent half a day trying on boots before I found a some that felt good.
But when I wore them all day they chafed the tops of my toes on the steel
cap. The only way that I can ware them is if I put tape on the tops of my
toes. So most of the time I leave them in the closet, and ware my old
falling apart boots. I've considered taking them to a local repair shop to
see if I can have the caps removed, it would be worth $20 to fix a pair of
$140 boot.
