Yea Bruce, I am in Burlington. Where & when will
this event be held? Safety is my first and foremost
concern. That is why I need to know what tubing
can handle the load. I'll actually want to over rate the
frame for 200 ton.

Mark -
Aren't you in NJ?
If so, you might want to await our upcoming forging-press-building
workshop -- yet unannounced. I've used one of these presses for
forging damascus, and it's quite impressive. Air-over-hydraulic.
Even if you didn't want to participate, you could show up to help with
the workshop (helping is free, but we require membership of all at a
workshop for insurance reasons). That way you could see for yourself
how the things are made and adapt the design to your purposes.

I have a 100 Ton cylinder and I need to know which square tubing would handle this load. I did an exhaustive internet search but found nothing. My partner and I are thinking 1/2" wall thickness 4X4 or 6X6 should do the trick. Any suggestions, charts, or general help would be greatly appreciated.
