Count your blessings.  I've had cats that would leave half a mouse, or
gopher, or whatever, on the stoop.  While one appreciates the vermin
control, one wishes they'd bury the remains rather than presenting
them as a prize.  Of course, you must praise them for their prowess,
which only makes things worse.
