What I know right now is that he says probably about 8X8 with raised 
letters.
I am going to pass on those interested or recommended to the architect 
that contacted me.
I told him to expect quotes that read so much per X number of square 
inches Y thick with a factor of $Z per letter additional.

These will be mounted to a wall to memorialize contributors. If you want 
  stipulate so much per hole.

  I'd also stipulate pricing at current rates subject to market.

He originally came to me with the idea of copper with repousse 
lettering. So whatever alloy you use figure going for the red end.
