I have several candle holders that require a flared lip on a large tube.
They are easy to make on the edge of the swage block and a ball pein hammer.
It takes about one heat per tube, just hold it in the recess with a little
bit of the tube extended above the block, gently tap the inside edge as you
rotate the tube as you work your way around. If the tube gets distorted you
can true it up on the ball of your vice screw or the horn of your anvil.
