[TheForge] New subject, a little tweeking on my LG help please

I've been getting back in my shop lately and Deb's finally promised NOT to
freak out if I want to use my Little Giant. Soo, I've been doing a little
larger scale work, largely practice till I get my eyes and hands tuned
again. I oiled her up and did some PH work but trying to do some more
precision work I was reminded the treadle is warn till it's almost
impossible to get to engage on the left side.

The treadle rather than the pivot bolt seems to be the warn part. To my
question, what's the easiest way to snug it back up? When I thought it was
the bolt it was no problem, just buy a new one and R&R the warn one. Seeing
as it's the hole the bolt passes through makes for a number of options. Bush
it? Weld the hole up and redrill it? Use a piece of 3/4" rd. and forge it
down snug?

I'd put money on any number of you guys having done exactly this thing in a
heartbeat. I'm just hoping none of you are tired enough of my tendency to
share puns you're just going to laugh and let me tough it out. <grin>

Thanks, Jer
