While I would not make a big deal of it in general, I can see where the 
technical distinction might make a difference in job-site rules and 
requirements.

As a boss I would pay real close attention to the word helmet if it 
showed up in an OSHA reg or insurance policy evaluation.

Having my workers know that if I said helmet I MEANT helmet, not what 
harbor freight says , would be important.
